Creating a space for scientists to live and work in the same environment with greater significant growth through the direct contact with nature and without any distractions that they would find in everyday society. Along with the research being conducted outdoors, scientists will also have the option to work within laboratory to share information with fellow scientists and to enter into another form of tranquility. Kahn believes that art is seen through the eyes of the beholder and that certain people work better in certain atmospheres. Although we will give the scientists two options to work indoors or out, the light inside the building will still be sufficient enough to conduct the tranquil atmosphere we are trying to obtain.
