Jenn- Connection Model

    The Connection is between the open public market hat is influenced by the different cultures. The cultures also have an impact on the program areas for the community. Thus Creating three different components all related.

    Center Void = Public market
    Colored boxes = Cultures
    White boxes = Community program

    Why are the cut-outs that shape? They as a bit arbitrary no? could the cuts / openings be response to the insertion of the color / program

    I had the cutouts different to possibly show an understanding of the program that could be inserted. Maybe show a difference between private, semi-public and public program areas. Should I keep the pieces separate to create different connections or pick one way and attach them?

    I didn’t mean all the cut-outs. I do see what you refer to in your comment; however, the narrow slots and the squares don't appear consistent. Do they follow the ideas of open / closed – inside / outside – overlap / solid / void – public / private? Could you have the relationships of the colors act to modify / negotiate the white space?

    the cuts in the top image on the left and right appear to follow the idea the best.
