To influence this change towards a maximum well being one must purpose a holistic medical clinic that is located within a community center. This holistic clinic must emphasize the meaning of the mind, body and soul to treat patients as a whole rather than their parts alone. The center is to serve the community as a place to interact and influence one another to achieve a better lifestyle.
The wellness clinic will have five administrators that include a physical therapist, psychiatrist, general doctor, dentist, and optometrist. The clinic will be complete with doctors' offices, fifteen exam rooms, staff rooms, a laboratory, large conference rooms, supply and storage rooms, and a lobby. This will serve the community and help the doctors to interact and learn from the people.
The community center is there to serve the public. A true community accepts everyone for who they are and creates a sense of wholeness that exists within. In this center we will promote learning and listening to the needs of one another through activities. The center will contain adequate staff offices and a kitchen and cafeteria to promote healthy eating. A childcare center, ten multipurpose classrooms, a gymnasium, exercise room, outside play fields, and a theater for local plays and concerts will be included as well as a pool, locker rooms and a exterior courtyard.
Concerns:
- I Think there needs to be a part that relates to the site... possibly discussing that it is a prototype?
- Not positive - but maybe including the idea behind the diagram of the people referring to three people that leads to nine people and so on...

I think if you find a way to converge all of this with your site choice it would help out alot for sure. One way you may be able to do it is to add a paragraph that ties the wellness clinic INTO the community center (as one) through the reasoning of your site choice, and the typology of the community that you chose and why...etc.

ReplyDeleteWhat is different about this program? Is it about the doctors, patients, community??? How does the community link with the doctors? How do the doctors serve the community and what does the community do to serve them.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Derek that a site will support developing the project; however, I still think the project should start as a prototype and you should use a site to test its changeability.
