MID CRIT BOARDS

  1. What does the Orange Dotted line outline in your program diagram? Also where does the "Flex" program come into play in your prototype? I think you need to redo your colors to make them corelate to your program diagram, for instance the way it is your prototype has no senior space

  2. I was afraid that the colors in that model would relate back to the program diagram... however, it is not supposed to... the colors in the model represent 4 separate unspecific program spaces and I try to show a connection where a space for interaction between spaces is provided (how they work independently and how they work together)

as for the chart... it is set up in a most public to most private program orientation... the dotted lines show which program relates specifically for a certain group as interior program spaces for my building... blue being students/educational orange being Senior Center... I know that in my building there will be times where everyone inhabits all of the spaces.. but the lines indicate what program is specifically arranged and assigned to the specific users of that space

  3. The "core for interacting spaces" further more becomes the space, such as the media center and/or auditorium ect., where students and seniors come together functioning as one.

  4. Can you have somthing to show the separation / collaboration aspect. Maybe its a diagram showing isolated elements vs a community of elements (the working model you have now)

  5. I believe that is what i was trying to show on the bottom of my first board... 4 masses on a site are separate... then the idea is to push them together and have them function as one on the site... ???? and again in the simple cube... 4 separate spaces can mesh together where opportunities for interaction within occur. My third board which in the works is going to touch more into the manipulation of how this form could be laid out and the connection of spaces that each offers ...

  6. I should have been more explicit - I meant for the site and its relationship to the community. You mentioned some time ago that the seniors have priority in the use of the town fields. Your facility alleviates this how?
