Nik - Sketched Over Plans

So, I really picked apart the floor plan a bit and think I came up with something really good here. The ramps that lead up to the platform are on axis with the 2 building parts. Anything shaded is open to below which, as you can see, is a lot. I really opened it up. I was able to completely open up the courtyard to the north by taking away the steps and am currently allowing the 3' water wall to break apart and become benches. Let me know what you think. I'm getting this all detailed in cad then moving up up up!

Nik - New Plan

So I have been working on this one plan this whole weekend......yes i know im taking a while but this plan gives me the rest of my plans. I am currently working out the circulation piece for the education "wing" and how it affects the lecture halls. I decided to allow the lower level where im raising the ground to become underground parking. I also bumped up the height of it to 10' but where the water hits im still sinking down to -6' roughly. I like where im going with it. Im also trying to rethink my structure for the education wing and trying to find a reason why i should keep it angled when the angle came from the lecture halls structure of where it use to be.

Nik - Updated Plan

So I have been doing a lot of thinking about this in drawing form and trying to figure some things out. I decided to make an "education wing" by using the left part of my project for classrooms, lecture hall, cafeteia, etc.. I also added in the residential piece which needs a little bit more of working out. I will be making a model of just the residential piece tonight and will try for the 1/16th model but it may take me the weekend to build the entire project. I like where this is so far but needs a bit more time in the oven.
